Dr. Julie Furst-Bowe has served as an executive leader in higher education for over 20 years at colleges and universities across the United States. She is currently serving as Provost and Academic Vice President at Georgian Court University in New Jersey. Julie also served as the North American Vice President for IVETA and as the editor of IVETA’s journal. She holds a doctorate in TVET from the University of Minnesota, USA.

Research has shown that students learn and retain more information when they are actively engaged in the learning experience. This session will discuss and demonstrate methods for engaging learners and improving learning in traditional, hybrid and online courses.
